Don’t you think?
I love this girl, plain and simple. Jordan and I spent most of the day together and had a marvelous fate (friendship date).
I tried hot yoga for the first time and LOVED it (actually my first yoga class in general). I was even sweatier than my 10 mile run yesterday… like… to the point that my entire outfit was wet with sweat. Yummy.
We then got Panera for lunch (my addiction), stopped at Target for some goodies, and then headed to the boy’s place. I must really like her because I let her touch my feet and paint my toes. Random fact: I absolutely HATE people touching my feet. We watched a movie, and then made dinner!Chicken fajitas and Jordan need to happen in my life more often. I also devoured about an entire watermelon. Okay, maybe that’s an exaggeration.
This all true. I love Rachael. She’s the greatest ever. It was a beautiful fate-day including watching What To Expect When You’re Expecting. We snuggled on the couch and made silly jokes that tickled our brains. I wasn’t feeling hot most of the day (we actually almost parted ways earlier in the night), but I hadn’t seen Rach in tooooo long.
HOWEVER:
Yesterday (Thursday) morning, I woke up and Cam took me to the doctor.
My fever was 103.5, my head was throbbing, my mouth was so dry that I drank too much water and I threw up (pure water) in the sink just minutes after waking up, and every muscle in my body hurt. I’d actually had a fever for a number of days and had the muscle pain since Saturday. The receptionist called the nurse and took me back right away. They sent me back to the lab for blood and urine tests and thankfully it turns out I’m not dying,
I just have a bladder and urinary tract infection AND a flu-like virus. I’m on anti-biotics and finally starting to feel human again. I might actually be able to go to work tomorrow. Until then, I’m sipping apple juice, eating toast, and munching on popsicles.
It really could be worse :)
Tumblr, I’m here to apologize. I’ve been a horrible friend.
I know that I’ve apologized a number of times before… And I’ve promised, a number of times, to be a better friend. I just can’t.
I’m having too much fun.
I’m enjoying living my life.
I keep forgetting to plug in and update you all.
Things are going well.
The boy and I are eating well.
I’m staying fairly active.
We’re moving sometime between June 15th and July 1st.
Work is treating me well, I have a big potential contract coming out early next week.
My foot is feeling alright, but I still haven’t started running.
I hope that you all are well. I apologize (again) for my absence. When life slows down, and running heats up, I’ll be back. I promise.
In UNDER ONE MONTH I’ll be riding the MS 150 once again.
My brother, sister-in-law, and boyfriend are all riding this year, so family resources are spread between all of us.

You’re right, WestCoast… I haven’t been online much in the last few weeks, but I have been enjoying my life SO MUCH. I think that’s more important!
Life update:
- I walked three miles yesterday and have another few planned for today with my girlies. My foot is still healing, but progress is progress!
- My sister-in-law has her graduation ceremony today. I’m so proud of her! Cam and I have the girls all evening. Swimming lessons and all… Should be pretty fun :)
- Cam and I were approved for the apartment we applied for. We’re still waiting to hear on a specific move-in date, but it will be July 1st at the latest.
- I didn’t get the last job I had an interview for, but I have another promising interview on Monday with a colleague of my boss.
- Memorial Day Weekend is coming up… I’m super excited to spend the weekend up at The Cabin.
